Hinulugang Taktak still has a much polluted waterfall despite of its renovated and beautified parks and vicinity, the government of Antipolo is undergoing severe difficulties in restoring the waters of Hinulugang Taktak. 

On October 5, 2015 we visited the famous Hinulugang Taktak Falls in Antipolo City to conduct our feasibility studies in our Tourism course,

We appreciated the efforts of the locals in renovating the park and maintaining its cleanliness and order. You may access the Hinulugang Taktak National Park for free and just by registering your name and address on the provided paper at the main entrance. Cigarettes and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited at the park.

So, we got into the park and pursued to the majestic waterfall. We trekked upon the numbers of properly cemented stairways down to the waterfall’s viewing area, but our excitement went into so much disappointment when we got into the place where we can see the falls in close up. The falls has much garbage on its body and the smell coming out of it (it’s anggi) is not good (amoy kanal) and the color of the water is brown instead of greenish white or blue as a clean water should look like.

I therefore conclude that the city government should demand for much more fund for the restoration of the waterfall, there should be a law a much strict reinforcement in protecting the waters of Hinulugang Taktak, they should take a thorough look on the residential and commercial areas near the creek of the falls. Hinulugang Taktak is one of the Antipolo’s great treasure that must take good care of, we already have a dead river which is the Ilog Pasig, as a concern citizen; We don’t want to have a dead waterfall. 

FAITHFUL VANGUARD

    You can never tell when to love and who’s to love unconditionally. It will just come unpredictably, and we as humans, we are all deceived by that dream that love only love can heal us.

     I am twenty-one years old, single and in a relationship.  I don’t know why but I am not amazed by the idea of fooling around, flirting and having multiple commitments with two or more guys. I know that I am not ugly and I got some looks as my friends and some other people complimented me, but having that kind of idea is a major NO for me. I hate any forms of cheating.

     Why do some people cheat? Is it a self-anxiety kind of mental disorder? Does it really make them feel good? Does it boost their self-confidence? Does it make them more beautiful or handsome? I think it does not.

      Let’s be straight. Now days, when you enter a man and woman relationship, you’ll surely come up into sexual intercourse even without the blessing of marriage; or let’s just say pre-marital sex. You’ll going to have a body contact with someone, being madly in love is not always the reason why do some engages themselves into sexual activities but because it’s their personal necessity as an active practitioner.  Try to imagine if you are a flirty person who frequently engages into that activity with multiple partners: sure thing is your health was on a risk; a risk of having HIV and other sexual transmitted diseases.  Now tell me, does having many partners make any sense when you are already sick?

      Think twice before doing any kind of dumbness. Remember, whatever you will do, it’ll surely bounce back to you. Do not be afraid of loving the only one you adore the most. Give him/her your best shot, be faithful.
